The problem
A private holding company with 14 limited partners was distributing quarterly reports, capital account statements, and notices via email. Every report meant 14 individual sends, manual version tracking, and no visibility into who had actually opened or downloaded what.
Beyond the operational friction, sending sensitive financial data via email attachments created real compliance and security risk. There was no audit trail, no access control, and no way to revoke access if a partner situation changed.
What we built
A white-labeled investor portal with secure partner authentication, structured document storage, period reporting, and a notification system. Partners log in once and have everything they need — organized by period, type, and entity — without an email in sight.
The result
The firm eliminated all email-based document distribution the day the portal launched. Partners now log in on their own schedule and access exactly what they need. The GP team went from managing individual sends to uploading once and being done.
"It looks more professional than portals from funds ten times our size. Partners noticed immediately. A few actually emailed to say they appreciated having everything in one place."
