Load time for full entity P&L dashboard

The problem

A mid-size holding company managing five separate entities had no reliable way to see their financial position as a whole. Cash flow data lived in three different accounting tools. AR and AP were tracked in spreadsheets. Reporting for each quarter required two full days of manual aggregation.

The CFO's time was being consumed by data wrangling rather than analysis. Decisions were being made on information that was often a week old by the time it was compiled.

What we built

Meridian is a unified financial operations dashboard that pulls data from all five entities in real time. It gives the CFO and relevant operators a single, reliable view of cash position, AP/AR status, and entity-level P&L — without touching a spreadsheet.

Real-time cash position across all entities
AP/AR status with aging buckets and alerts
Entity-level P&L with period comparisons
Role-based access — each entity manager sees only their data
One-click PDF export for board reporting
Automated month-end reconciliation checks

The result

The quarterly reporting process dropped from two days to under two hours. The CFO now opens Meridian each morning and has a current picture of the business in under a minute. Decisions that previously waited on compiled reports now happen the same day.

"We went from spending two days every quarter assembling data to opening a dashboard and having everything in front of us. The time savings alone paid for the build in the first month."
